Richard Kirby is Technical Director of CAPDM Limited. He graduated from Sussex University in 1988 with a BA in Computing and Artificial Intelligence. After initially working for British Telecom on large distributed network management systems, he worked at the Artificial Intelligence Applications Institute at the University of Edinburgh, and then Heriot-Watt University’s Institute for Computer Based Learning. He has a wide range of expertise in database design and development, web-based technologies, computer networking, UNIX and application development.
